A true friend never gets in your way unless you happen to be going down.

We all have our moments. We all have those 10 minutes of fame. But people often forget what you actually did. It's like while you have those 10 minutes everyone is there for you, but after they pass by, just your real friends are there. They forget what you actually did for them. Take some time and think about who your real friends are.  Let's face it - neither of us have many. Right now, I can just say that I have 3 real friends. I met two of them in kindergarten, and one during my sports competitions. We were friends ever since. During my ups & downs they stayed right there, by my side. When I fall, they are the one to get me back up on my feet. I told them so many awful words after a bad result at one of the competitions, or just because someone annoyed me before I went over and met or talked to them over the phone. Not a lot of people would tolerate me, but they did. They understand what I am going through or was going through. Without them, I don't really know what i'd do or would my life make any sense and I'm glad I have people like them in my life.
Don't walk behind me; I may not lead. Don't walk in front of me; I may not follow. Just walk beside me and be my friend. - Albert Camus
